WOVEN

FAMILY ADVOCACY MINISTRY

Woven is a family advocacy ministry with the mission of living out the Gospel by supporting vulnerable families and children. We want to see families stronger, not isolated as they become part of something greater and understand God’s intricate work in their lives and their children’s lives.

Our goal is to facilitate relational ministry and ensure that families impacted by crisis are loved and supported.

FOR INTERESTED MOTHERS:

We'd love to talk more about how we can support you in this season!

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES:

Below, you will find different areas in which you can volunteer.

VOLUNTEER ROLE: PARENTING CLASS TEAM

Throughout the year, we hold a series of parenting classes. When offered, these classes meet weekly at Fredonia Hill on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. and are free to register. Even if a mom chooses not to be a part of a Care Community, she can participate in these classes.

We are looking for class instructors and class assistants! You will be provided with curriculum and training prior to serving.

For more information about getting involved, you can fill out the FHBC Volunteer Form below.

DONATE TO WOVEN MINISTRY:

"ADOPT-A-CLASS" GIFT REGISTRY

At the end of each parenting class, a gift will be given to each mother that participates.

These items include necessary baby items like washcloths, baby shampoo, and first aid kits, as well as treats for moms like tea bags, ginger chews, and foot soaks.

If you do not have the time capacity to volunteer but would like to serve the Woven Ministry through giving, you can buy a gift to donate through our Amazon Wishlist linked below.

VOLUNTEER ROLE: CARE COMMUNITY TEAM

We support families by creating Care Communities. Each community is made up of 4-8 volunteers who provide practical and relational support to families. Teams consist of a Family Connecter for discipleship and mentorship as well as members who can help with meals and transportation.

This model allows everyone to join in and support, pooling our different gifts, resources, and time capacities together in a way that is communal at its core. If this interests you at all, we have a space for you!

For more information about getting involved, you can fill out the FHBC Volunteer Form below.
